Ingredients

200 g Paneer

1 tbsp Oil

1 tsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

1 tsp Fennel Seeds

2 medium Onion (chopped)

2 large Green Chilli (chopped)

1 medium Green Capsicum (chopped)

1 piece Ginger

3 cloves Garlic

1 large Tomato (finely chopped)

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp Cumin Powder

1 tsp Coriander Powder

1 tsp Garam masala Powder (Hot Spices)

1 medium Lemon Juice

For garnishing Coriander Leaves (chopped)

In a kadai, heat one tablespoon of oil and one teaspoon of ghee.

Add cumin seeds and fennel seeds to the oil and ghee mixture.

Add the chopped onions and green chillies. Sauté until the onions turn transparent.

Stir in the chopped capsicum and cook briefly.

Add freshly pounded ginger and garlic. Sauté for about two minutes until the raw smell disappears.

Toss in the finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Add salt, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder.

Mix well and cook for another two minutes to let the spices toast and release their aroma.

While the masala is cooking, crumble the 200g of paneer using your hands.

Add the crumbled paneer to the masala base and mix gently until well combined.

Stir in the garam masala powder. Finish the dish by garnishing with freshly squeezed lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot!
