Ingredients

1 bowl Penne Pasta

400 small Mushroom (sliced)

2 stick Butter

1 tbsp Olive oil

6 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)

1 large Onion (finely chopped)

2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour (Maida)

2 cups Hot Milk

2 piece Cheese Slice

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

2 tsp of Italian Seasoning

Instructions

1

Boil a pot of water, add a teaspoon of salt, and cook the pasta shells for about 15 minutes.

2

Once tender, strain the water and set the pasta aside.

3

Heat butter and olive oil in a wide pan. Add the finely chopped garlic and onion, and sauté them for about a minute.

4

Add the washed, cleaned, and sliced mushrooms to the pan.

5

Sauté for two minutes, then season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

6

Continue cooking on high heat for five minutes until the mushrooms release and absorb their juices.

7

Stir in the maida (all-purpose flour) and cook for a minute.

8

Slowly pour in the boiled and cooled milk, stirring to create a smooth, rich sauce.

9

Add the cheese slices to the sauce and mix until the mixture thickens and the cheese is melted and fully incorporated.

10

Add the cooked pasta shells into the creamy mushroom sauce.

11

Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated.

12

Optionally grate extra cheese on top, and serve the dish hot, ideally with a side of toasted bread.
