Ingredients

1 cup Roasted Peanuts

1 tsp Sugar

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp Asafoetida Powder (Hing)

to taste Tamarind

to taste Salt

Instructions

Place the peanuts in a pan over the stove and roast them, tossing continuously to ensure they are roasted evenly.

Once roasted, turn off the heat and allow the peanuts to cool down completely.

Once the peanuts have cooled, remove their outer skins.

Transfer the roasted, peeled peanuts into a mixer or grinder. Add the sugar, tamarind, asafoetida (hing), red chilli powder, and salt to taste.

Grind all the ingredients together until they reach a nice, coarse powder consistency.

Your peanut chutney is ready! Transfer it to a bowl and serve it alongside your favorite dishes like idli or dosa.
