Ingredients

1 cup Flax seeds (Javas)

1 cup Sesame Seeds

1 cup Dry Shredded Coconut

2 piece Dry Red Chilli

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

5 clove Garlic

1 tsp Asafoetida Powder (Hing)

1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder

3 tsp Salt

Instructions

In a pan, add 1/4 cup of flax seeds and roast them on low to medium flame until they start to pop and turn dark brown. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add 1/4 cup of sesame seeds. Roast on low to medium flame until they change color and start to pop. Remove and set aside with the flax seeds.

In the same pan, add 1/4 cup of dry shredded coconut and roast on low to medium flame until light brown. Add 2 dried red chilies and 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, roast for one more minute, then turn off the flame.

Allow all roasted ingredients to cool down completely.

Add the cooled mixture to a mixer jar along with 5-6 cloves of garlic, 1/4 tsp of hing (asafoetida), 1 tbsp of red chili powder, and 3/4 tsp of salt. Grind everything together into a coarse powder.
