For garnishing Chocolate syrup

Instructions

Step 1— Prepare the Beetroot Puree

1

Clean and chop the beetroot into rough chunks.

2

Place the pieces in a saucepan, add half a cup of water, and boil on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.

3

Once boiled, allow the beetroot to cool down completely.

4

Transfer the cooled beetroot to a blender. If it seems too thick, you can add a little bit of water or milk to help it blend.

5

Blend until you get a fine, smooth puree. If there are any chunks remaining, strain the mixture using a fine-mesh sieve.

Step 2— Make the Pancake Batter

1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, melted butter, baking powder, and vanilla essence.

2

Add the prepared beetroot puree into the bowl.

3

Gradually add the milk (about three-quarters of a cup in total) in 2-3 batches, mixing continuously to ensure a smooth batter without any lumps.

Step 3— Cook the Pancakes

1

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.

2

Pour about a quarter-cup of the batter into the center of the pan. Let it spread naturally into a circle.

3

Cook for approximately 2 minutes until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip the pancake.

4

Cook the other side for another 1 to 1.5 minutes until it is cooked through.

5

Remove from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining batter.

Step 4— Serving

1

Arrange the warm pancakes on a plate.

2

Garnish with fresh banana slices or any seasonal fruit of your choice.

3

Drizzle with honey or chocolate syrup before serving.
