Ingredients

3 nos. Ripe Bananas

1 cup Unsalted Butter

3 cup Sugar

2 large Egg

1 cups All-Purpose Flour (Maida)

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 cup Walnut (chopped & toasted)

1 cup Raisins

Instructions

1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and white sugar.

2

Use a hand mixer to cream them together on medium-high speed until well combined.

3

In a separate medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until they reach a consistency similar to baby food.

4

Add the mashed bananas and room-temperature eggs to your creamed butter-sugar mixture. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.

5

In a small bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

6

Add the dry flour mixture into the wet banana batter and stir until just combined.

7

Stir in the vanilla extract, raisins, and coarsely chopped toasted walnuts. Use a spatula to fold everything together gently.

8

Grease the sides and bottom of a loaf pan with a little butter, then dust it with flour to prevent sticking. Shake out any excess flour.

9

Transfer the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.

10

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes. The loaf is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

11

Let the banana bread rest in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool down to room temperature before slicing.
