Ingredients

2 tbsp Roasted Cumin Seeds

1 tbsp Black Salt

1 cup Mint Leaves

1 cup Coriander Leaves (chopped)

1 piece Lemon

1 cup Water

as needed Cold Water

Boondi: For garnish (optional)

Instructions

Place 2 tbsp of roasted cumin seeds and 1 1/2 tbsp of black salt into a mortar and pestle.

Pound the ingredients together until they form a coarse powder with small granules of cumin still visible.

Add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves, 1/2 cup of coriander leaves, the prepared cumin and black salt powder, and the juice of 1 lemon into a mixer/grinder.

Pour in 1/2 cup of water to help blending.

Grind all ingredients together until it forms a smooth paste.

Transfer the green paste into a serving jar or container.

Add cold water to the paste and stir thoroughly to combine.

Adjust taste by adding more black salt or lemon juice if necessary.

Serve the drink chilled in a glass, garnished with boondi if desired.
