Ingredients

1 tbsp Fennel Seeds

8 piece Peppercorns

1 tbsp Poppy Seeds

A pinch Saffron Strands

6 piece Green Cardamoms

3 tbsp Dried Rose Petals

6 piece Almonds

1 l Milk

few Ice cubes

handful Almond Flakes

handful Pistachio Flakes

Instructions

In a blender, combine 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon fennel seeds, 8 peppercorns, 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, a pinch of saffron, 6-8 green cardamoms (peeled), and 3 tablespoons dried rose petals.

Blend all the ingredients into a fine powder.

Take 1/2 litre of chilled milk and mix in 7-8 tablespoons of the Thandai masala.

Add a few ice cubes and blend until well mixed.

For the best flavor, let the drink sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Strain the Thandai through a fine sieve into glasses.

Garnish with almond flakes, pistachio flakes, and a few dried rose petals.
