Ingredients

25 piece Almonds (soaked & peeled)

1 cup Sugar

1 tbsp Custard Powder

1 l Milk

A pinch Saffron Strands

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

2-3 tbsp Milk (for blending the paste)

as needed Ice cubes

Kulfi Slices (for topping)

handful Almond Flakes

handful Pistachio Flakes

handful Rose Syrup

Instructions

Take 25 almonds that have been soaked in hot water for 3-4 hours and peeled.

Add the peeled almonds to a blender.

Add 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 tbsp of custard powder, and 2-3 tbsp of milk.

Grind all ingredients together into a fine, smooth paste.

Bring half a liter of milk to a boil in a pan.

Add a pinch of saffron strands to the milk.

Boil for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour the prepared almond paste into the boiling milk.

Keep stirring consistently on heat for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down completely.

Place a few ice cubes in a glass.

Pour the cooled badam milk over the ice.

Top with kulfi slices for extra richness.
