Ingredients

Yogurt (Dahi/Curd): 2 cups

1 cup Mint Leaves

1 tsp Ginger Juice

1 tsp Salt

Black Salt: 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder

Ice Cubes: 1/2 cup (to blend) and more for serving

few Mint Leaves

Instructions

1

Using a fine shredder or grater, grate the fresh ginger. Gather the grated ginger and squeeze it with your fingers to extract 1 teaspoon of ginger juice.

2

Add the mint leaves and about two tablespoons of yogurt to a blender. Blend until very fine to create a smooth mint paste.

3

Add the rest of the yogurt, ginger juice, salt, black salt (if using), and roasted cumin seed powder to the blender.

4

Blend everything for a few seconds just to mix. Note: Do not blend too much, or the lassi will become too frothy.

5

Pour the lassi into glasses over ice cubes. Garnish with roasted cumin seed powder and a few mint leaves.
