Ingredients

1 cup All-Purpose Flour (Maida)

1 cup Oats

1 cup Brown Sugar

1 cup Butter

60 ml Honey

50 g Raisins

50 g Chocolate chips

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

1

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the butter and brown sugar until well combined and creamy.

2

Add the honey to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well.

3

In a separate container, combine the flour and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture into the butter and sugar mixture.

4

Fold in the instant oats, raisins, chopped dark chocolate, and vanilla extract. Mix until a soft dough forms.

5

Using an ice cream scoop, drop portions of the dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

6

Ensure there is enough space between them as they will spread while baking. Gently flatten each scoop with your hand.

7

Place the tray in a preheated oven at 170°C. Bake for 15–18 minutes for large cookies (or 10–12 minutes for smaller ones).

8

The cookies are ready when the sides turn golden and the center remains slightly soft.

9

Remove the tray from the oven and allow the cookies to chill and firm up on the tray for 10–12 minutes before serving.
