Ingredients

200 g Paneer

1 piece Green Capsicum (chopped)

2 tbsp Cabbage (chopped)

1 cup Green Peas (boiled)

1 cup Bread Crumbs

2 tbsp Mint Leaves (chopped)

4 piece Green Chilli (chopped)

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp Chaat Masala

Oil: 1/2 tsp (for the base) + additional for frying

to taste Salt

Instructions

1

Heat oil in a pan. Add the chopped capsicum, chopped cabbage, and boiled green peas. Sauté for about 30 seconds. Add the red chilli powder, chaat masala, and a little salt. Mix well and set aside to cool.

2

In a mixing bowl, take the grated paneer. Add the sautéed vegetable mixture, chopped mint leaves, and chopped green chillies. Mix everything together.

3

Add bread crumbs to the bowl to help bind the mixture. Mix thoroughly.

4

Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a round tikki (cutlet). You can create an indentation in the center if you wish to add extra filling, though the base mixture is complete on its own.

5

Heat oil in a flat pan (tawa). Place the shaped tikkis on the pan. Fry them over a medium-low flame until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides.

6

Once crispy and browned, remove from the pan and serve hot with your favorite chutney or dip.
