Ingredients

250 g All-Purpose Flour (Maida)

100 g Semolina(Rava)

100 g Clarified Butter (Ghee)

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Black Pepper Powder

1 tsp Cumin Powder

as needed Water

Instructions

1

In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, semolina, salt, black pepper powder, and cumin powder. Add the melted ghee and mix well with your hands until the mixture reaches a crumbly texture.

2

Gradually add a small amount of water to the mixture. Knead until the dough gathers together; do not over-knead.

3

Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

4

Take small portions of the dough and roll them into medium-sized circles. Ensure they are kept slightly thick rather than very thin.

5

Use a fork to prick each puri to prevent them from puffing up during frying.

6

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the puris on medium-low heat. Flip occasionally until they turn a beautiful golden brown color and are perfectly crispy.

7

Remove from the oil and let them cool. Enjoy your homemade crispy Farsi Puris.
