Ingredients

6 large Potato (boiled)

to taste Salt

1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes

1 tsp Coriander Powder

1 tsp Cumin Powder

1 tsp Dry Mango Powder

2 Green Chilli (chopped)

handful Coriander Leaves (chopped)

2 tbsp Rice Flour

as needed Oil

1 tbsp Semolina(Rava)

to taste Black Salt

Instructions

1

Grate the chilled, boiled potatoes in a large bowl to ensure even binding.

2

Add the salt, black salt, red chili flakes, coriander powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder, green chilies, and fresh coriander to the bowl.

3

Incorporate the rice flour and fine semolina. Mix everything well with your hands until the mixture forms a firm, dough-like consistency.

4

Let the mixture rest for 3-4 minutes so the starches absorb any excess moisture.

5

Grease your hands with a little oil, take a small portion of the mixture, and roll it into a round ball.

6

Flatten the ball into a disc shape (Tikki) and smooth the edges against your palms or a clean surface.

7

Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.

8

Place the Tikkis into the hot oil and fry for 2 to 2.5 minutes on one side until golden brown.

9

Flip carefully and cook the other side until uniformly crispy and golden.

10

Remove, drain any excess oil, and serve hot with your favorite dip.
