Ingredients

1 cup Sago pearls (Sabudana)

2 medium Potato (boiled & mashed)

1 cup Roasted Peanuts

3 large Green Chilli (chopped)

1 tsp Ginger (crushed)

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

1 tsp Sugar

1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Fresh Coriander

to taste Salt

For deep frying Groundnut Oil

In a large bowl, combine the soaked sabudana, mashed potatoes, crushed peanuts, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander, lemon juice, sugar, and salt.

Mix everything thoroughly until it forms a cohesive dough-like consistency.

Grease your palms with a little oil. Take a small portion of the mixture and flatten it into a round patty (vada). Ensure there are no major cracks on the edges.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium-high heat.

Gently slide the vadas into the hot oil. Fry on medium heat until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides.

Remove the vadas and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
