Ingredients

1 cup Sesame Seeds

1 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)

1 cup Jaggery

2 tbsp Water

2 tbsp Peanuts

Instructions

1

In a pan, roast the sesame seeds on low flame for 5–6 minutes until they change color, then remove and let them cool on a plate.

2

In the same pan, heat ghee and add the chopped jaggery along with water.

3

Cook on low flame until the jaggery melts, then continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

4

Perform the water test by dropping a small amount of syrup into a bowl of water; if it holds its shape without spreading, it is ready.

5

Add the roasted sesame seeds and coarsely ground peanuts to the pan, then turn off the flame.

6

Mix everything thoroughly while the mixture is warm.

7

Remove the mixture to a plate. Carefully wet your palms with water to prevent burning and shape the mixture into round balls.

8

Allow the ladoos to cool for at least one hour before serving.
