Ingredients

1 cup Wheat Flour

1 cup Clarified Butter (Ghee)

1 cup Jaggery

pinch Nutmeg (GRATED)

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

6 piece Almonds (Chopped)

Instructions

1

Heat the ghee in a pan and add the wheat flour.

2

Roast the flour on low to medium heat, stirring continuously, until it turns golden brown and releases a fragrant aroma

3

Turn off the heat and continue stirring for a minute so the flour doesn't burn on the hot pan.

4

Add the cardamom powder and nutmeg powder, and mix well.

5

Allow the mixture to cool slightly (it should not be piping hot when adding jaggery).

6

Stir in the grated jaggery until it is completely melted and incorporated into the flour mixture

7

Grease a plate with a little ghee and pour the mixture onto it, spreading and pressing it even

8

Sprinkle chopped almonds on top and press them down with a spoon so they stick.

9

Cut into squares while the mixture is still warm.

10

Let it set for a while before separating the pieces and serving.
