Ingredients

250 g All-Purpose Flour (Maida)

1 tbsp Semolina(Rava)

100 g Clarified Butter (Ghee)

50 ml Milk

50 ml Water

Tiny pinch Salt

For frying Oil

100 g grain sugar

In a pan over medium heat, combine water, grain sugar, half the ghee, and milk. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely, then turn off the heat and let it cool to room temperature.

In a large bowl, mix refined flour, semolina, salt, and the remaining ghee. Rub with your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Gradually add the liquid mixture to the flour and knead into a smooth, pliable dough. Let it rest for 5 minutes.

Divide the dough into portions and roll each into a thin disc (about 0.5 cm thick).

Cut the disc into thin strips, then move diagonally to create diamond-shaped pieces. Remove any uneven ends.
