Ingredients

1 cup Potato (boiled & mashed)

3 tbsp Arrowroot Powder

Rock Salt

5 tbsp Fresh greated coconut

3 tbsp Roasted Peanuts

Fresh Coriander

3 tbsp Raisins (Chopped)

3 tbsp Cashew Nuts (Chopped)

3 tsp Ginger-Green Chilli Paste

1 tbsp Sugar

Instructions

1

In a bowl, combine all stuffing ingredients (coconut, peanuts, coriander, raisins, cashews, ginger-chili paste, sugar, lemon juice, and salt). Mix well and divide into 8 equal portions.

2

In another bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, arrowroot flour, and salt. Knead into a smooth dough and divide into 8 equal portions.

3

Grease your palms with a little oil. Take one portion of the potato mixture and flatten it into a circle (approx. 3 inches). Place one portion of the stuffing in the center.

4

Bring the edges together in the center to seal the stuffing and shape it into a smooth round ball.

5

Roll the prepared pattice in arrowroot flour until evenly coated on all sides.

6

Heat oil in a kadhai on a medium flame. Deep-fry the pattice until they turn golden brown and crispy.

7

Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with sweetened curds or green chutney.
