Ingredients

1 cups Pitted Dates (chopped)

1 cup Almonds

1 cup Cashew Nuts

1 cup Pistachio

1 cup Walnuts

2 tbsp Raisins

2 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)

For flavoring Cardamom Powder

Instructions

1

Finely chop the almonds, cashews, pistachios, and walnuts (or pulse them briefly in a blender for a coarse texture).

2

Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Add the chopped nuts and roast on low flame until they turn crunchy and aromatic. Add raisins at the end and sauté until they puff up. Remove and set aside.

3

In the same pan, add another teaspoon of ghee if needed and add the date paste. Sauté on low heat for 2-3 minutes until the dates soften and become sticky.

4

Add the roasted nuts and cardamom powder back into the pan with the dates. Mix thoroughly until the mixture forms a single dough-like mass.

5

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly (so it's touchable but still warm). Grease your palms with a little ghee and roll the mixture into small, round ladoos.

6

Let them cool completely and store in an airtight container.
