Ingredients

6 large Potato (boiled)

2 tbsp Rice Flour

1 tbsp Semolina(Rava)

1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes

1 tsp Coriander Powder

1 tsp Cumin Powder

1 tsp Dry Mango Powder

2 piece Green Chilli (finely chopped)

to taste Salt

A pinch Black Salt

A handful Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)

For frying Oil

Instructions

1

Use 6 boiled potatoes that have been chilled in the fridge for several hours. This removes excess moisture, ensuring the tikkis are crispy.

2

Grate or mash the potatoes until smooth for even binding.

3

Add salt, a pinch of black salt, red chili flakes, coriander powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder (amchoor), finely chopped green chilies, and fresh coriander to the potatoes.

4

Add the binding agents: 2 tablespoons of rice flour and 1 tablespoon of fine sooji (semolina). Mix everything well into a dough-like consistency.

5

Let the mixture rest for a few minutes to allow the flour and semolina to absorb remaining moisture.

6

Grease your hands with oil, take a portion of the mixture, roll it into a ball, and flatten it into a tikki shape.

7

Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.

8

Place the tikkis in the oil and fry until both sides are golden brown and crispy.

9

Remove from the oil and serve hot with ketchup or your favorite chutney.
