Ingredients

2 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)

2 cups Makhana (Fox nuts/Lotus seeds)

5 piece Cashew Nuts

A few Cardamom Seeds

A pinch Saffron Strands

500 ml Milk

1 cup Sugar

A handful Raisins

Instructions

Heat ghee in a pan.

Add makhana (fox nuts) and lightly toast them until crisp, then set aside.

Take a portion of the toasted makhana and add it to a mixer jar.

Add cashew nuts, a few cardamom seeds, and a pinch of saffron.

Grind into a fine powder and set aside.

In a tempering pan, heat ghee.

Add cashew nuts and roast until golden brown, then add raisins and turn off the heat.

Pour milk into a pan and bring it to a boil.

Once the milk is warm, add the remaining toasted makhana.
