1 cup Gram Flour (besan)

150 ml Clarified Butter (Ghee)

1 cup Sugar

Instructions

1

Roast the gram flour in a pan over medium heat for 10 minutes to remove the raw smell. Sieve it into a bowl and set aside.

Heat the ghee until melted. Once slightly cooled, add half of it to the roasted flour and mix until the batter is smooth and lump-free.

3

Grease a tin with ghee.

4

In a pan, dissolve the sugar in water to create a syrup.

5

Add the flour and ghee mixture to the sugar syrup and whisk well.

6

Gradually pour in the remaining ghee while stirring continuously.

7

Cook on low flame for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens into a uniform mass.

8

Pour the mixture into the greased tin, spread evenly, and apply a little ghee on top.

9

Let it set for 2 hours before cutting into pieces.
