Ingredients

1 cup Almonds (soaked & peeled)

3 cups Clarified Butter (Ghee)

1 cups Milk

3 cup Sugar

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

3 tbsp Saffron Milk

as needed Almond (sliced)

as needed Pistachio (sliced)

Instructions

1

Soak the almonds overnight. After peeling, dry them thoroughly to remove any moisture.

2

Grind the almonds coarsely; avoid turning them into a fine paste.

3

Heat ghee in a pan and add the ground almonds. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until they turn brown and aromatic.

4

In a separate pan, boil the milk. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron-infused milk to it, simmering until the sugar is completely dissolved.

5

Pour the prepared milk mixture into the roasted almond paste.

6

Continue to cook on a low flame, stirring continuously until the halwa thickens and the ghee begins to separate and rise to the top.

7

Garnish with sliced almonds and pistachios before serving warm.
