Ingredients

2 cup Grated Carrot

2 cups Beetroot

3 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Full-Fat Milk

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

1 cup Cashew Nuts (Chopped)

1 tbsp Raisins

Instructions

1

Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan and sauté the chopped nuts until golden brown; remove and set aside.

2

In the same pan, add the grated carrots and beetroot. Sauté on medium heat for about 8-10 minutes until the raw smell fades.

Pour in the milk and cover the pan, allowing the vegetables to cook until tender and the milk reduces.

Stir in the sugar. Continue cooking while stirring frequently as the mixture thickens and the moisture evaporates.

Once the mixture reaches a halwa consistency, mix in the cardamom powder and the toasted nuts.

6

Serve warm or chilled as a delightful dessert.
