3 cup Water

600 g Sugar

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

For frying Oil

For greasing Clarified Butter (Ghee)

Instructions

1

Combine the pre-mix with milk or water in a bowl. Mix gently with a spoon until combined; do not knead the dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

2

In a large pot, dissolve sugar in water to create a thin syrup. Add cardamom powder and boil for 6 minutes. No string consistency is needed.

Grease your palms with ghee. Gently shape the dough into small, smooth balls. Ensure there are no cracks.

4

Heat oil or ghee in a pan on low flame. Fry the balls slowly until they turn deep golden brown, ensuring they are cooked through.

Warm the syrup if it has cooled. Add the fried jamuns and cover the pan. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes before serving.
